Christmas, New Year or time in between
Choose the dates that suit your group, then check availability, total price, minimum stays and cancellation terms on Airbnb. The estate is offered for peaceful accommodation; a New Year stay does not include permission to host a party or additional visitors.
Confirm any special needs before booking, including holiday cooking equipment, accessibility and sleeping arrangements. Seasonal decorations, a prepared celebration or catering are not promised as part of the stay.
Plan for the hillside setting
Winter evenings can be cool, and the hillside setting may feel different from the valley floor. Check a current forecast before packing. Bring layers for terraces and outdoor routes between the hacienda and casitas rather than expecting summer conditions throughout the day.
If a warm pool is central to the trip, discuss the desired temperature and estimated heating cost in advance. Heating is optional at actual cost, and overnight solar-cover use is essential. Weather, wind and the starting temperature affect the heating needed.
Keep the itinerary flexible
Use the event calendar for arena shows and race weekends, and the area guide for golf, hiking, markets and venues. Confirm opening hours, reservations and current outdoor conditions with each operator. Leave some of the trip unplanned for meals together and time looking out over the valley.
